After a highly successful career as the Chief Security Officer for both Nielsen Media as well as NielsenIQ, Robert A. Messemer created a risk advisory consulting practice designed to assist law firms and global corporations in navigating uncertainty and existential risks.

As Nielsen’s first-ever Chief Security Officer, Robert A. Exerting strong leadership in managing global security operations in 106 countries, he forged strong relationships with senior executive management officials and acted as their trusted advisor and innovative solutions provider on a broad spectrum of complex cyber security, financial fraud, enterprise risk, privacy, compliance, and crisis management issues. Robert advised the Nielsen Board and Audit Committee on cyber security, crisis management, fraud, compliance, corporate governance, as well as enterprise risk management issues. Robert served as Nielsen’s Chief Security Officer and Senior Vice President for fourteen years.

In early 2021, Robert assumed the newly created role of Chief Security Officer in NielsenIQ’s successful consumer measurement business spin-off from Nielsen Media. Soon after his departure from NielsenIQ in December 2021 Robert created Pinnacle Global Risk, LLC.
